On December 8–9, 2022, at the fully online Workshop on Practical Use of Vision Technology (ViEW2022), Shintaro Shiba, a doctoral student in the Aoki Media Sensing Laboratory, received the Best Paper Award "The Society of Precision Engineering Image Application Technology Committee Odawara Prize" for the following paper:

OS2-O2: Optical Flow Estimation Using Event Cameras: What is Motion?
