Naoki Kato, an M1 student, received the Numata Memorial Paper Award from the Japan Society of Precision Engineering.
We received the highly prestigious Numata Memorial Paper Award from the Japan Society of Precision Engineering. It appears that this is the first time a sensing technology targeting humans has won this award. In the industry-academia collaborative research with Panasonic, the novelty of the method and its potential for industrial applications were highly evaluated.
