The student team from the Aoki Laboratory won the Best Award at the Sports Data Analysis Competition organized by the Sports Data Science Division of the Japanese Statistical Society!

At the 11th Sports Data Analysis Competition esports division (Puyo Puyo), held online and organized by the Sports Data Science Division of the Japanese Statistical Society, Daiki Ito (M2) and Seiji Hirosawa (D2) from the Aoki Laboratory received the Best Award.

The esports division was newly established this time, and they presented a model that imitates how professional players load pieces based on actual play data. Congratulations on the award!
